Global Nutrition Services is
available as needed to conduct nutrition evaluations and counseling in the home or nursing
center. We are available to provide services statewide. We can assist your agency to:
- Comply with state, federal and JCAHO
regulations.
- Develop a nutrition screen for
nursing to identify nutritional concerns.
- Provide nutrition evaluation and
counseling as needed.
- Serve as a resource to the medical
team regarding nutritional concerns, poor eating habits, therapeutic diets, food /
medication interactions, blood work analysis, wound healing, supplementation, determining
nutritional needs for fluid repletion, enteral feeding, TPN / PPN.
- Train the medical team on current
nutrition practices.
- Assist with menu and recipe
development.
- Attend care plan meetings.
